October 2025 - Bluebeam Support Articles
October 2025
This month we are going to highlight a folder of Solution Articles listed on the IT Help Desk website. It will be in the side category for Other Resources and Documents under the folder titled Bluebeam.

This folder has 2 main folders within it, as well as many other articles that help walk through Bluebeam. The first folder within Bluebeam is called Bluebeam Toolbars and has articles describing each toolbar that is available in Bluebeam that can be used. The second folder is for Customizing Toolbars if you want to get more advanced with a toolbar that is completely your own.
The other articles within the Bluebeam folder go through some steps of working with PDFs, changing file types, and some solutions for errors that come up. Depending on what Bluebeam license you have, you may not have access to every feature listed within the articles and toolbar documents. If you find yourself needing more editing capabilities, you can request a licensed version of Bluebeam in the Request portal.
There are 4 licenses for Bluebeam: Unlicensed, Basics, Core, Complete. The Unlicensed version is a view only version that works as a PDF viewer only. The Basics license allows for a base level of markups on PDFs and can do what Microsoft Edge’s PDF viewer can. The Core license is for more advanced drawings that can scale and work with more heavy-duty projects. And the Complete license has all the previous as well as some more complicated abilities when it comes to mixing PDFs and that sort of organization. The Core license is often used by those who interact with drawings often, such as foreman, and the Basics license is used more for basic office uses.
