June 2025 - How to Create a Meeting in Teams
June 2025
This month we are going to highlight another Solution Article listed on the IT Help Desk website. It will be in the side category Office365 under the Microsoft Teams folder by the title How to Create a Meeting on Teams.

This article provides another way to create a meeting other than using Outlook. Teams meetings have some more options than Outlook that is on a slightly easier interface.
The meetings created in Teams work just like the ones in Outlook, so the attendees will get an email with the information and inviting them to a meeting like normal. One helpful thing about using Teams is that it will show you if the room and/or the attendees are available at the time you specified. It can be a quick look into who is available and give suggestions on times when everyone is available, which replaces the need for the Scheduling Assistant in Outlook.
It is a personal preference whether you use Outlook or Teams to create meetings, but having the options available to learn both ways is helpful. For more information or articles on Outlook, Teams, and other Office 365 apps, please visit the IT Portal’s Help Desk Solution Articles.
