As we get closer to the summer months, more people will be Out of Office more frequently. This month we are going to highlight another Solution Article listed on the IT Help Desk website. It will be in the side category for Printer and Copiers under the main folder and is titled Setting up Out of Office Replies.

This article walks through how to set up Out of Office replies for when you may need to have automatic replies sent notifying people of your absence. The most handy part about these automatic replies is that you can set them to start and end in advance so you don’t have to worry about turning them off when you are back in the office.
You can also have separate messages for those inside versus outside your organization. This can be useful if you would like to alert a vendor or someone outside of TG that you will return on a certain day but specify a time you are going to return for those inside the organization at TG. The most common approach though is to copy the same information for both inside and outside the organization.
