This month we are going to highlight another Solution Article listed on the IT Help Desk website. It will be in the side category for Printer and Copiers under the main folder and is titled How to Scan a Document to Email.

This article focuses on how to scan a document to your email for any of the Konica Minolta brand devices at the TG offices. Often these are the large commercial copiers and printers, with some having a side attachment for stapling pages together.

For some people, their names may be already on the device they are using so they don’t have to search for their name. If you would like to add your name to the printer for ease of use, you can search for your email like you normally would when you scan to your email using the Addr. Search function, select your name, but this time select the button Addr. Reg. on the left hand side.

Doing so will add your name to the registry, which means the next time you need to scan to your email, it will be listed in the Address Book section, eliminating the extra time you would have spent doing an Address Search for your email.
