Redaction Toolbar

By default, the Redaction toolbar provides quick access to tools for redacting PDF content.

Note: The exact tools a user will see depends on their Profile, licensing, and the customizations they have made and might not include all the tools mentioned here. Redaction is only available in Bluebeam Revu eXtreme edition, but you can Erase Content using the Advanced Toolbar which can be an alternative to upgraded licensing.

The toolbar may be hidden, and you can unhide it by following the steps in the Show / Hide Toolbars article. Below is an image of the toolbar.

Mark for Redaction (SHIFT+R): Launches the Redaction tool for selecting content to redact.

Apply Redactions (SHIFT+A): Applies redaction selections.
