How to Change Your Password Remotely with VPN (NOT at a Tweet Garot office)
**Note: You will not be able to connect to the VPN if you are on the Tweet Garot Wi-Fi network. It is meant for use outside of the office only.
1. Go down to the Start menu at the bottom taskbar and search for VPN. VPN Settings should show up for you to open. Note: If your password has already expired, please view the How to Change Your Password Via Mobile Device article.

2. On the VPN Settings page, select Connect on the VPN.

3. A popup to connect to the VPN should appear. Enter your username (first initial, middle initial, and first 5 letters of your last name) and password, leaving the Domain section blank. Then click Connect. Note: The password you enter here will be your newest and most recently set password.

4. A Duo push should be sent after you press Connect, and once it is approved you can change your password by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del buttons, and then select Change a password.

5. After selecting to Change a password, you will be prompted to enter your Username, Old password, and your New password twice. Your username will be your first initial, middle initial, and then the first five letters of your last name.

Note: The requirements for the new password is that it must:
- have a minimum of eight characters
- contain at least three of the four character types (being uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character)
- not be one of the last ten passwords
- does not contain any common words such as Tweet, Garot, Packers, password, or your name
6. After the pop up that your password has changed, log into your device go down to the Start menu, select your name, and click the option to Sign out.

7. After you have Signed out, you will have successfully changed your password and you can then log back in using that new password.
*Note – you will have to update your password on any applications you are logged into on your mobile phone (Teams, Email, One Drive) to avoid being locked out
