How to Create a Meeting on Teams
If you need to create a meeting, one way you can do this is via Teams.
1. Open Teams and select the option for Calendar on the left hand side.

2. You can change the view of the calendar by selecting the three dots at the top and finding the week option. You can also alter what you would like the view to look like in this section when it comes to spacing as well. Note: Work Week is only Monday through Friday, whereas Week includes weekends.

3. Once you have the view you prefer, you can navigate to a different date by selecting the date dropdown. If you want to schedule on a specific day, you can navigate to that day here.

4. Once you have the day you would like, you can click into the time frame you want to meet and a popup should come up for information. Select the option for More Options.

5. After you can see the full details, you can now add a title to the meeting, change the date this way, change the time, include certain people, set it as a Teams Meeting or in person, as well as search for rooms. A nice part about this is that the rooms will show if they are available at that time you want, as well as for the attendees. You can search for the room name, or use the Room Finder as a way to find a specific room you want to meet in.

6. Once you have the details finished, and everyone is able to attend and the room is available, you can save the event. To see who is available, the side calendar can be helpful for this and the items at the bottom represent the included attendees as well as the rooms. If they are not available, it will show red like in the example to the left. Once you are satisfied with the Teams meeting, then you can Save the meeting and it will send the email notification to the attendees just like if you were sending a meeting in Outlook, where they can accept, decline, mark as tentative, and see all the details as normal.
