How to Recycle Empty HP Toner Cartridges
If you need to recycle toner cartridges from an HP office printer, please follow the instructions below for proper disposal and recycling procedures.
1. Once your inkjet and/or laser toner cartridges are empty, go to this site: https://help.marconet.com/recycle-your-toner
2. Scroll down until you reach Option 2, this is what you will follow. If you are unsure if your toner cartridges will be accepted, please follow the links highlighted in the form section to double check.
3. Fill out the information required with your Tweet/Garot email address, your Tweet/Garot location, and your phone number, either mobile or desk. Once that is filled out, complete the verification and press Continue.
4. If this is your first time requesting a printing label, you will be directed to confirm your email before you are able to download the label.
5. Open the email from them and click the link to be forwarded to a page where you get confirmation that your email is verified. Then click the link to go to the label.
6. Choose how many labels you need, and then press Download.
7. An informational notice will pop up. Read the notice very carefully, you will need at least 6 empty cartridges to meet the weight minimum for this shipping label. Be sure to use a sturdy cardboard box to hold the cartridges and fill with packing materials to ensure nothing becomes too damaged. Press Continue when you have finished reading.
8. You will then reach the final step, and will click the link to be forwarded to a PDF version of the label. Please print out the label, being sure to cut out only the label portion as the portion to the right of it is meant to be instructions for your use.
9. Once you have met the 20lb weight minimum and are ready to ship the package, tape the label to the cardboard box and ship it out at the front desk or by dropping it off at a UPS store.
