How to Access SharePoint sites from a Web Browser
1. Open up your preferred Internet browser on your device. All laptops have Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge installed.
2. Go to https://www.office.com.
3. Click the Sign in button in the middle of the screen.
4. Type in your Tweet/Garot e-mail address (firstname.lastname@tweetgarot.com) and click Next. If an option to Pick an account shows up, find your Tweet/Garot email address and select it. It should log you in automatically.
5. If it asks you to choose personal or work/school account, choose work/school and click Next. If not, skip this step.
6. Enter your Tweet/Garot password and click Sign in
7. Microsoft will ask you if you want to stay signed in. If this is your computer, check the box next to Don’t show this again and click Yes. If the computer belongs to someone else, you should click No.
8. Once you are signed in, there will be a bar on the left hand side with a list of apps. Select the waffle square at the top to view all apps.
9. Locate SharePoint and click it.
10. On the left hand side of the screen, you can see the sites you are following and recent sites you have visited. On the main screen, there will be news from your sites, as well as listing your frequent sites below that.
11. Find the team site you’re looking for click on it. You’ll be taken to the team’s homepage and if you want to find documents, click on the Documents link under the title of the site. If you do not see your team site, search for it in the search bar at the top of the screen.
12. Once in the Documents library for that site, you can open, modify, and share files using your browser.
